During the night, it actually snowed! None stuck to the ground at the camp, so the kids were disappointed. I got up before the kids to go buy some coffee and hot chocolate for us. Once we were warmed up, we headed over to Eden Hall for buffet breakfast. The sun was shining, making breakfast

after a night of lots and lots of rain, we woke to the LEAF “Family Campground” noises outside our tent. We dressed quickly and headed to Eden Hall for the breakfast buffet (priced by weight). We ate on the screened porch, which was really quite cold. The grounds had gotten pretty muddy during the night,

friday morning started off miserably. Nothing went right. The girls and I finally got on the road at quarter to 11 — I had been hoping to leave around 9. Remembering my illness following eating at Taco Bell on our trip back from Texas a week previously, we decided to stop for lunch at Moe’s.
