Yesterday, I took some time off (hey, I am half-time and had spent three full days in meetings!) and went to l’Orangerie which has been closed for “renovations” since I first came to a French ILOG meeting(back in 2000). The museum reopened since my last trip, and I finally got to go see Monet’s masterpieces.

After our meeting today at the Maison des Polytechniciens, we walked across the street to the Musee d’Orsay for a tour and then dinner in the dining room. We spent the day at this chateau, both in meetings and exploring the castle and grounds. Thankfully, it didn’t rain. Leaving the busyness of Paris for a day was very nice.
