OUr sad, sad plants. With the construction in the courtyard, we’ve pretty much ignored our balconies this summer. Now that we’ve had to bring the plants inside for a couple months, it is time to get some new plants from Ace…

Gazoo came to us out of the blue. Since we didn’t know her actual birthday, we declared it to be July 4th, 2007. And, so, today is Gazoo’s fifth birthday. She misses being “jungle kitty” but has adapted to her “balcony-only” life as a condo-kitty….

Today was the Ribbon Cutting at Fire Station No. 1. The mayor used these giant scissors to cut the red ribbon hung across the front. I spent 4 hours helping setup and giving tours to all the visitors.

At last, we made it to Fort Mountain! Knowing that the day was going to get hot, I insisted on an early start. What a nice view of the area around Chatsworth!

Thwarted from our planned adventure by a dead battery, we decided to ut our stranded time to good use and gave the cabin a good scrubbing and organizing.
