Gazoo doesn’t love heading in the car, but she’s actually a good roadtripper. We’ve taken her to Texas a couple times and the cabin a bunch of times. She explores the car and often settles down to sleep in a seat or even on my shoulder.

This morning we headed down to the Blue Ridge Tuba Christmas. Barbara played her euphonium with a group of people of all ages and from all over. Always fun, but colder than ever in this year’s temporary location.

I read in the AJC that today is a holiday in Georgia for Gen Robert E Lee. Since he and I share a birthday, it must be my birthday too! Though I didn’t get the brownies I requested, I did get a little birthday snack complete with candles and song!

As I rode the elevator this evening, I noticed this lost toy. Poor baby is sure to be missing it. It was gone when I got back home, so I’m hoping that the right puppy got it back!

There was a lovely pink sky at sunrise this morning. While I’m not thrilled with getting up at 5:30 and having to get Chloe up and fed and ready for school, I do enjoy seeing the sky move from dark to light.

The girls and I walked over to Little Shop of Stories tonight to pick out a book for our Season of Giving recipient. It is always such a joy to visit Little Shop, and we appreciate all the great things they do for our community.

Chloe loves games. Rob likes playing games. I sure wish I enjoyed games more … it seems like fun, but I rarely enjoy playing them.
