From Koret Children’s Quarter playground, to the museums, the deYong and the California Academy of Sciences and thenonto all the hidden gardens, I loved being there. As part of our transportation adventure, we made our way to Roosevelt Island vai a cable car over the river. While on the Island, we meandered down the riverside path to the smallpox hospital and the Four Freedoms Park.

While in San Francisco, we stayed at my sister’s place for much of the time, and took advantage of her close proximity to the beach! Too cold for swimming, but never too cold to walk near the water and gaze out at the long horizon… I sure do wish I lied closer to the ocean!
