I love this trees sculpture. I bought it at a non so fun place, the Signal catalog, I think, but I still like it. It was on the wall by the front door inside our old house. Here, out on the porch…weathering well!

I was quite surprised a few months ago when I realized that my digital SLR did not have any built-in functionality for time lapse photography. I still don’t undertand why not, but I do now have a little time lapse gadget, thanks to Rob. Today, I decided to try it out for the first time.

We finally managed to get everything packed up and got out the door. The park wasn’t too far away, so we had plenty of time to register and pick out a nice site along the river.

A few weeks ago we headed out to North Carolina to pick up my mid-life crisis vehicle that we had won in an eBay auction. Since we were already at the coast, we decided to give her a camping test run at Myrtle Beach State Park. Oh, how I love to be at the beach!!

Camille made much of tonight’s dinner, which I modified from the “menu planner”. I didn’t use store-bought garlic bread but made our own. I used whole-wheat pasta and fresh broccoli. I’m finding it very easy to make the processed recipes into more wholesome … I hope I can continue to make minor adjustments….
