Day 23: Left Bryce, headed through Capitol Reef NP and ended up amongst the goblins.

Day 22 brought us through Zion and on to Bryce. We decided to spend the night at Bryce instead of the state park as I had planned. Beautiful place!

Day 21 brought us out of Las Vegas and into the land of Utah’s National Parks. We headed up to Zion, but we were all so tired from the late Las Vegas night that we got no more than a quick overview….

Day 20 of our out west trip brought us from just outside Yosemite, through the desert, over the Hoover Dam and onto the strip in Las Vegas.

Today’s Highlights: Buying choco rocks at Alien Jerky. Making it through the hot desert without overheating. Walking across the Hoover Dam. Eating dinner near a canal in Venice. Today’s Highlights: We woke up above the clouds. Chloe finally talked to Mindy. Evie had a little bath. We made it to just outside Yosemite. On Day 17 of our big trip out west, we drove up to the top of Mount Diablo. We had the campground almost to ourselves — four other humans and a few raccoons were there.
