Mission Downsize: Day 13
Shouldn’t we done by now? I suppose I should give us at least a month to rid ourselves of the possessions gained over the last two decades, right? And why oh why does downsizing involve lots and lots trips to IKEA?? The garage sale emptied the garage enough to allow us to start clearing out

Tomorrow is the day that we sign the contracts to buy our new condo. Things really are moving forward FAST! Downsizing is moving forward quite nicely. Mission Downsize: Day 8
Rob has been hard at work on the “business side”: checking the closing documents, wiring money, filling out HOA/condo paperwork, purchasing homeowner’s insurance. It’s all quite boring with no real tangible results, other than making it possible for us to move. The girls have finally come to an agreement on new bed linens for their

Today or CSA basket was filled to the brim with greens. I better come up with a yummy green dinner for Thursday or Friday! This looks like it is probably the very last of the tomatoes, unfortunately.

As “Mission Downsize” continues, we are going through everything in the house, figuring out what we need to get rid of and what we will keep. Though I do this year round in “Room of the Month” we are being even more crazy about getting rid of stuff. It feels great to let go of

gazoo – 24 sep 2011
Gazoo is not sure what is going on inside the house. She’s trying to stay out of the way and zone out, I think. She sure isn’t going to know what hit her when we move from this place with a fun yard filled with critters to our new condo where she only gets a
