Today is Coast Guard Day.

Up early to get the girls going, clean, take care of the neighbor’s cat, and walk the dog. I worked for a couple of hours, then headed out to the Red Cross where there was a huge pile of work to do. On the way home, I stopped at the botanical garden to renew our membership and Trader Joes to get flowers and basil. At home, I walked the dog, exercised, and worked for a few more hours before stopping to make dinner. After dinner, I caught up on a lot of my paperwork. I never got to practicing guitar…
