Today is National Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Day and Donald Duck’s Birthday.

Up early, but gave ourselves a bit of a slow morning. We headed out around 10am to get bagels and take the train out to Queens. We had a pleasant walk through the park over to the Unisphere and the Queens Museum. The museum was surprisingly interesting and fun to visit! From there, Camille and I walked a bit more of the park, over to the lake, where we had a snack and relaxed before walking back a different route to the subway stop. We got off in Williamsburg near McCarren Park, where we waited for Jeff to arrive. Once he got there, we walked around, went to a bookstore, and had some pizza. We then got in line to enter the concert venue. Two bands played, Land of Talk and Wolf Parade. The concert was over around 9:30, and Camille and I took the subway back to the apartment where we had a snack and caught up on things.
