Ireland Trip: Day 4
I woke a little after 5am and read for a few hours. Around 8, I tried getting the girls up. Barbara and I walked down to the harbor to look for a geocache. A little after 10am, we finally were all packed up and ready to head back to Galway.
Our first stop was only a few miles away at the “Dark Hedges”. The trees formed a lovely canopy over the road and was a great place to take a pretty picture. We then headed to Belfast. We decided to not stop in Belfast and keep on heading home. Buying gas was a bit of a challenge; not much was open on a Sunday and we don’t have a European chipped credit card.
We stopped in a few places to get out and look at the lakes. We finally got back to Galway after 5pm. Unpacking, grocery shopping, and dinner. I went to sleep early; I had been getting 5 to 6 hours of sleep a night. The others did various other things like taking a walk and watching tv.
