Today is National Cold Cuts Day and National Anthem Day and National Mulled Wine Day.
We had a bit of a runaround day. After work, I volunteered at the Red Cross then rushed home to drive Chloe to her flute lesson so that I could then drive her to Renfroe for a concert. On the way, we picked up Rob and Camille who had both just gotten home.
After Chloe’s concert, we got Jimmy John’s for dinner to celebrate “National Cold Cuts Day”.
I read some of this week’s New Yorker as well as more of I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai with Christina Lamb, The Lost Art of Walking: The History, Science, and Literature of Pedestrianism< by Geoff Nicholson, and Walking Home: A Woman’s Pilgrimage on the Appalachian Trail (Official Guides to the Appalachian Trail) by Kelly Winters.
