I slept in until 8am, but still felt achy and coughy, so I decided to not work my volunteer shift. Instead, I rested at home and took care of a few things around the house. I didn’t hear much from Rob and the girls at Dragon*Con.

Sick! I could hardly move and did not go to work. I did manage to collect an achy Chloe from the pool (she skipped her swim lesson again) and turn in her registration for ballet – waitlist ๐ I couldn’t go to the RAD reunion either – too sick.

I told Chloe I’d drive her to school on the way to taking Phelix to daycare. Alas, I got stuck in traffic and didn’t make it to doggie daycare until after I came back home and had a conf call. Coffee with a friend, hiding in the amenities room while the cleaning people were here.

Work and school. Chloe wasn’t feeling well, so I picked her up from school at noon. Zoe came home from school with Camille; the girls made pita pizzas for dinner. I started to get a sore throat in the evening.

We had a quiet day at home; Chloe was still not feeling well. Camille came home from Claire’s and packed for Dragon*Con. We made two-bite brownies and watched the Harry Potter movies.

We slept in a little, then Rob packed and we all headed out to brunch at The General Muir. From there, we took Rob to the airport. At home, we did some chores, then Camille went over to Claire’s. Chloe was feeling sick, so we watched movies and worked on the jigsaw puzzle.

Work and school. The girls and I walked across the street and bought a jigsaw puzzle. Chloe, Rob and I went to Cook’s Warehouse and bought a new pan. We then went and got a pizza for dinner. Rob and the girls went to a late movie.

Work and school. I met Shawne at Victory for a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, Camille and I picked up Chloe at the pool because she didn’t feel well, took her home, and then we went to the Book Nook for comics. At home, we made soup, cupcakes, and lemonade, then watched “The Book Thief”.

Work and school. Midday, I picked Camille up from the high school and took her to the doctor. It is so much easier to have the girls’ doctors here in Decatur! Chloe walked to her flute lesson. Rob and I went to the high school for curriculum night. Chloe made scalloped potatoes for dinner.

Rob made the various kids a big breakfast, then went to get his rental car. I took care of various things around the house. Chloe and Jane made cupcakes. Phil and Barbara came, and Chloe and Barbara went to the mall with Jane and her grandma. We had a little party for Phil’s birthday.
