live in concert – The Verve Pipe
We parked in our usual parking spot at Union Station, went to the bookstore and then walked up to XM to see The Verve Pipe in the Rumpus Room. The sidewalks were mostly clear, so the walk was actually quite pleasant. As we got to XM, Kenny came out the front door, so we stopped

sunday morning, we headed to the metro station near here and jumped on a train into DC. The girls are old pros and slapping their metro cards on the gates, staying to the right and all the rest. As usual, we took the train to Cleveland Park instead of the zoo stop, because the walk

blue sky, white ground
yesterday morning, as soon as I saw the blue sky, I headed right out to enjoy the beauty of our hamlet. It was wonderful to see its beautiful side as later in the day, i saw the raw edges as well.

We had a snowball throwing contest. As we tossed snowballs into the lake, a curious
rudeness
this week, i’ve been thinking about rudeness within the context of social networking. i am befuddled by rude comments made by strangers on sites such as youtube and blogs. as an “author”, i suppose I should expect that not everyone will love what i produce and publish online. that’s fine. i can accept that. but
