headed home, the long way around
after a slow morning invoving a bagel breakfast and a swim in the pool, we checked out of the hotel and headed home. But not in very much of a hurry. First, we fought the traffic and lines and went to Great Falls Park on the Virginia side, where we met up with some friends.

on saturday morning, we headed over to Jammin’ Java to see another show. I was shocked by the traffic in Vienna, VA. The past few times we have been there, the traffic was nothing like what we saw. Perhaps people were trying to avoid I-66, which seems to be a construction mess at the Beltway.
favorite things
the girls and I have some favorite things. one is to go to Ralph’s World concerts. Another is to go to concerts at XM radio in Washington, DC. I went back and forth on whether to make the trip this year (we did last year, but had the added bonus of seeing Rob who was

Even though I really don’t know that I have anything interesting to say, much less enough things to fill a whole month of posts, I’m going to participate again. Maybe I’ll just have to plan enough trips this month so I can have things to write about.
halloween 2009
how did Halloween come and go so fast? Maybe it was the fact that we were out of town so many weekends in October? Maybe it was the fact that I’ve been sick with a cold/sinus infection for so many days now? I have no idea, but I really hope that next year we manage
