election day in Pine Lake

Have you ever been “out here” to Pine Lake? When we lived near Brookhaven, I thought Stone Mountain was SO far away. And I had never heard of Pine Lake until the day I decided to move here. Driving in that first time, I felt like had come home. Weird, since I had never been there.

Last night after dinner, the girls and I headed down to the beach house for the elections party. It was so nice to get out and hang out with our friends and neighbors out on the deck overlooking the lake. And celebrate living here in this quirky little hamlet. Thanks all, for making this a wonderful place to live.
