Music Saturday
This morning, we listened to a wonderful Kids Place Live speical, Ellis Paul and Robbie Schaefer together in the “real Tall Tree.” (If you don’t know what that means, go get a trial XM subscription and find out.)
When we walked into Eddie’s Attic for a Gustafer Yellowgold show, we were greeted by the sight of two adjacent concert posters, Ellis Paul and Robbie Schaefer. What fun!
As we entered the main room, we ran into another musician that we really like, Danielle Sansone. A little bit later, yet another kids’ entertainer Michael Rachap came in. It took me a minute to place him, as we’ve never met face-to-face, despite email exchanges and facebook friendship.
Eddie’s Attic gave us a nice meal. I do wish that restaurants/bars could be a little more creative than offering a portobella burger for vegetarians. I so don’t like them, and that’s often the token veggie option. Instead, I went with a veggie platter, so the girls could eat my fires along with their meals of mac-n-cheese and cheese quesadillas.
Te show itself was fantastic! There was such a large crowd that I am now hopeful that Decatur could support more touring “kindie” musicians. We had a wonderful time and did not want the show to end.
Afterwards, we took various photos, and Chloe got a purple Slimothy the eel shirt before we headed out to hang with friends for the rest of the afternoon.

Ah, yes, we ALL like mushrooms and want to eat them ALL the time ๐ I do enjoy homemade veggie burgers, which some pubs have, but when they serve me a Gardenburger for $8, I get annoyed.
