Geocaching
I’ve always been intrigued, but the rest of the family is so much more active in this “sport” than I am.
Friday, Rob got permission from our city manager to plant a geocache in our little city. He put it out at 10pm, it was listed on the geocaching website at 10:30pm, and was already found by 1am! Wow!! I didn’t know, but a FTF (first to find) is quite coveted by a subset of the avid geocachers.
On Sunday, we went out to find some geocaches near the cabin. The first one took us a while to find. I thought it would be in the collar of the street light, but it wasnt’t there. We encountered some muggles and told them we were on a scavenger hunt.
The next one appeared to be missing as we found where it should be, but it wasn’t there. The final one we couldn’t find, but others also needed help to find it, so it wasn’t surprising.

We have never done this. I wonder if my girls would get into it. But that is so cool that you all put one in Pine Lake!
