planning.
I’ve started many planners over the years. But, like most everything else, keeping it up becomes just another chore for me to get done each day. One more thing to check off of the to do list. This year, I’m approaching it a bit differently to see if I can keep with it. I’m turning
new year, new resolutions.
Resolutions, resolutions. Every years starts with grand plans, then real life gets in the way. This year, I’m back to the start…the start of my Happiness Project. With all of the changes in the past few years (new schools, new jobs, new homes), it is time once again for me to get organized. Hopefully this

new desk chair.
Now that I’m working full-time, I’m spending a lot more of my day sitting. While I’m not quite ready to consider a standing desk, I decided I was ready for a change. With a Christmas gift certificate, I bought myself a new “chair”!
what season?
Years ago, when the kids were younger, I was working on addressing out Christmas cards while sitting in the bleachers during their swim lessons. One of the coaches walked by and asked if I had fallen behind or was getting a head start. Yes, the cards were sent out quite late that year. Since then,
half my life.
8937 days. That is half of my life today. As well as the number of days that Rob and I have been married. I won’t say that he’s my “better half”. We each have our own selves. We are wholes, not two halves that make a whole. But, for better or worse, we have now

Phelix just could not wait for Christmas! Chloe had piles of presents to wrap in her room. Twice Phelix snuck in there and took off with his gift. An then finally, the wait was over!! Unfortunately, Santa was very quickly decapitated by this rough and tumble boy of ours… he is not gentle with his
