Rob and the girls headed over to Pine Lake for trick-or-treating this evening. I’m still not feeling 100%, so i stayed home and tried to rest.
A little over a month after getting it, the subway sign is now up in the girls’ bathroom. Almost done in there!!
Our lovely concierge is also quite talented! She made these cute little brownie mice for a party and brought the leftovers to share with her favorite Artisans, my girls (and I’m sure many others too).

Camille, Claire and I joined this evening’s Decatur Ghost Tour. We enjoyed it, but I think I would have gotten a lot more out of it had I not been quite so tired ….
I’m still feeling very, very tired, but I managed to get the girls taken care of and out the door to my citizens’ police academy class tonight. Im hoping that I’ll soon get back to my regular energy level, but this weekend is going to be tough!

This little guy has been sitting in our window for a while, and now he’s all decorated with the Halloween lights.
Despite all the school Chloe has missed over the past few weeks, she seems to be keeping up quite nicely. Unfortunately, despite my trying to make sure Chloe got all her homework done before Rob got home, she had a panic attack in the evening about work that she “forgot” she needed to get done.
I gathered up all of the LEGOs hidden in every closet, bench and bucket and put them all in one place. That was the easy part — now we need to figure out what to keep and how to store them compactly…
The rest of the family is off at LEAF. I’m stuck home being sick. But relaxation doesn’t come easy to me. I’ve spent the day decluttering and cleaning. Gazoo kitty likes to hang out in my bathroom. In the dark. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve almost tripped on her! I suppose it is her “cat cave”.
I am sick, sick, sick. I don’t know if I made it out of the bedroom other than to get to the couch today. I had to sleep all day. Never even touched a computer — emailed my manager from my iPhone to let him know I wouldn’t be at work.
