No internet at home, so I headed out to Val’s to hang with her for a while. Unfortunately, the trip home was a mess because a bomb scare shut down the highway. At home, I made pad thai while Rob, Claire, Camille and Chloe assembled some of the new stools.

Camille worked on her personal project. Rob and Chloe went to a GT Women’s basketball game and then Super Bowl parties. I took the day off and caught up on reading.

Anna stayed until mid-afternoon, doing craft projects with Chloe. Rob and I went to Lowe’s to pick up the last bits for the project; he spent the afternoon installing the new under counter backsplash.

I got the kids off to school, walked the dog, cleaned and worked until it was time to meet Amy for lunch. After lunch, Phelix and I went for a hike at Arabia. Not long after we got home, the teens and tweens descended. When Rob got home, he took the tweens bowling.

I had a busy day with taking Chloe to school, a meeting at the Red Cross and work. In the evening, Camille made enchilada soup, then we left to go to the Alliance Theater to see “Tuck Everlasting”.

We made hash browns in the waffle iron — Perfect! We took care of things around the house, then went for a hike at Arabia. The girls and I made a tortilla soup for dinner – delicious!

I had a morning meeting then had to pick Chloe up from school as she was not feeling well. Lots of teens came over in the evening. I went to a CAPS reception down the hall in the amenities room.

A bit of a sick day – I had muscle aches and cough and got a headache later. Chloe came home from her day at the food bank too sick to go to her flute lesson. Rob was still not feeling well. Blech.
