after a day of taking care of things around the house, we headed down to the Beach House to share a potluck dinner with out neighbors. It was nice to get to see everyone again!

Dragon*Con – 3 sep 2011
Rob and the girls at Dragon*Con today. Rob actually marched in the parade. It was bizarre the number of people who asked for photos of Chloe and Rob.

The girls worked more on their Dragon*Con costumes today. Chloe decided to NOT be Litte Amelia Pond, but to be the Tardis instead. Camille, of course, is the Doctor. I hope she doesn’t get to hot at the parade and convention!

After a relaxing morning and then a stop at the Stitches marketplace, we made it to the Palatine Street Festival where Chloe went in the bounce house, we had some pizza and then Ralph put on a great concert!

After a day of working, driving, getting lost and delivering the organ, we made it to the KOA, where we set up camp and had a nice dinner — and were a nice dinner too. So many mosquitoes!

The girls and I did some “girl bonding” today and dyed our hair. The girls dyed their hair in preparation for their Dragon*Con costumes. I dyed mine in order to cover up the greys. So now my hair has been cut and dyed by children — and, well, looks it too. Oh well. It is
