Camille and I arrived to a rainy NYC. Luckily, after the AirTrain and the A train, it slowed to a drizzle and stopped in time for us to head into Manhattan.

My baby sister got married today!! Despite the threatening weather (it *never* rains in the Bahamas), the wedding was lovely. And Chloe was beyond thrilled to get to be a part of the wedding party (party being the key word here).

For our Gulf Coast Spring Break trip, the girls and I spent two nights camping at Gulf Shores State Park. While the park seemed to cater mostly to RVs and people in cars, we were able to ride our bikes to the beach…which was the whole idea! This is an entry for Delicious Babyโs Photo

Today I took the girls to their first mani/pedi. Chloe loved it; Camille hated it. But we all now have good-looking toes for the beach!!

When we returned from our bike ride over to Avondale for the STEAMFestATL, we treated ourselves to popsicles from King of Pops on the square. Yum!

Camille “accidentally” dumped a few weeks worth of turtle food into Dumbledore’s cage. Instead of cleaning it, she just let it all float there. I’m hoping that the turtle doesn’t explode! Gazoo just loves turtle food and sat on top of the cage all evening inhaling her favorite aromas.

Camille has been working harder on studying and homeschooling this year, and it looks like it has paid off! She did much better on her National Latin Exam this year (Level II) than last year! Alas, she’s decided that this is her final year of Latin after seven years of study.

As I sit here, back at the grind — trying to catch up and also to get ahead, we had a visitor arrive … a mourning dove! After a short visit, he (she?) flew off just as I was trying to take a photo. Camera shy, I suppose …
