Today is National Fruit Cake Day and Make Cut Out Snowflakes Day.

I got up early to take care of some of my projects. Everyone else got up a bit later and opened Christmas gifts. The girls and I went out to Starbucks and the beach at Casey Key. On the beach, Chloe and I played “lacrosse” and went for a walk while Camille drew. On the way back, we stopped at Target to pick up a bunch of things, including a swimsuit for Chloe. I worked during the afternoon while Rob and Chloe cleaned the gum off the seat in the car, tossed the ball with the lacrosse stick, and went to the pool. In the evening, we went out to an Italian restaurant for dinner. When we got back, Chloe practiced flute.
