school: graduation

fifth graders – 22 may 2013

After almost two years at F.AVE, it is time for Chloe to move on from being in upper elementary and onto middle school. The past two years have been a roller-coaster of lows and highs. I’m thrilled with the mentoring, guiding and teaching she’s had this year, and I hope she’ll have more of the same next year in the middle school.

Today, Rob, Camille, Barbara and I went to the “celebration” at her school. After an assembly filled with too much clapping, we then went to smaller groups and watched Chloe present her final project. She impressed us with how well she knew her topic and her confidence in public speaking. But I’m so glad it is almost time for school to be over for the year!
