Saturday night was the Pine Lake chili cook-off. On Saturday, we had celebrated the holiday of red hearts and sugar. The girls and I gathered lots of art supplies and invited lots of friends over to spend an afternoon of fun. We had cookie decorating, pin the heart on Cupid, valentines exchange and lots of running around having fun.

Despite the wind, Camille really enjoyed playing at the beach on Tuesday. It is not clear what has come over, but she’s wanted to bake, bake, bake, these past few days. She’s made pancakes, french toast, crepes, peanut butter cookies, snickerdoodles and shortbread cookies this week. I’m hoping she’ll make latkes tonight!
