I’ve been wanting to visit for years, but never found the right time or anyone to go with me. I decided earlier this year that I’m not going to wait any longer. I will do the things I want to do, even if it means going alone. So when I saw the “Monastery of the Holy Spirit Architectural Tour” appear on the Arabia Alliance Events listing, I signed up without a second thought.
Today I drove out to the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. I was the only one there for the tour by myself but, in the end, that didn’t bother me at all. In fact, I really enjoyed myself. The tour was interesting, and I’m glad to know more about the monastery. It was quite hot out, but I will go back to explore the museum, the bonsai garden, the grounds, and more when it is cooler. I even hope to go on a retreat there someday soon.
