Today is World Oceans Day and Best Friends Day and National Children’s Day.
Up early to clean, walk the dog, and work. Camille and I packed, then Chloe and I went to our neighbor’s to see about cat-sitting. I ran to the bank, then Camille and I left for the airport. Camille had pre-check, so she went that way and I went through the normal TSA. It took me under 20 minutes. We had lots of time, so Camille and I had lunch and worked on various things. Our flight was EMPTY! Not only did Delta bump us to a more preferable flight time and give us $200, they also put us on a flight where everyone had their own row! We had an easy time getting from the flight to the apartment and getting settled in. Camille and I headed out to go to Target, like you do. We stocked up on snacks, bought me a book, and her a new suitcase (the handle on her bag broke). She was craving a milkshake, and right there was a Shake Shack! By the time we got back, it was after 8pm, so we caught up on the day and relaxed and read (no tv here, but the internet is good).
