Today is National Bicarbonate of Soda Day and Bacon Day.
Gazoo got me up around 5am. I read for a while and then tackled my “home” to do list. The rest of the family got up around 9am when the grease trap truck arrived. We jumped into the chores and packing. Rob went to get Phelix from boarding. After loading up the car with the boat, the groceries, the gifts, Rob’s antenna, our bags, the cat, and the dog, we headed out in the pouring rain. The trip was mostly uneventful, except that Camille found a new comic book store. At the cabin, we quickly settled in, then I worked on end-of-month/end-of-year tasks. Barbara made lupper, and we watched a movie.
